The Skippo app is developed for both iOS and Android devices. To install and use the app, you need a relatively up-to-date version of the operating system – otherwise, the app may not be downloadable or function properly.
Below you'll find an overview of which devices are supported and how to easily check which version you're running.
iPhone
You need an iPhone that supports iOS 15 or later. This includes:
-
iPhone 6s and 6s Plus
-
iPhone SE (1st generation)
-
iPhone 7 and newer
Note: Although the iPhone 6s and SE (1st gen) support iOS 15, they no longer receive security updates. For better performance and long-term support, we recommend a newer model.
iPad
You need an iPad running iPadOS 15 or later. This includes:
-
iPad (5th generation) or newer
-
iPad Air (3rd generation) or newer
-
iPad mini (5th generation) or newer
-
All iPad Pro models from 2015 and onward
Android
Skippo for Android requires Android 9 or later. This means most phones and tablets from 2018 onward will work, although exact compatibility can vary depending on the manufacturer.
Examples of compatible Android devices:
-
Samsung Galaxy S9 or newer
-
Google Pixel 3 or newer
-
OnePlus 6 or newer
-
Most Android tablets released from 2019 and onward
How do I check which operating system I have?
On iPhone/iPad:
Go to Settings > General > About – your iOS or iPadOS version will be shown at the top.
On Android:
Go to Settings > About phone/device > Software information. Under “Android version,” you’ll see which system you’re using.
