What should I do if I can't log in to the Skippo app?

If you’re unable to access the app, it’s often because you’re trying to log in using the wrong method. Skippo offers three different login options: Email, Google, and Apple. You always need to use the same method you chose when you created your account.

 

Common scenarios – and how to solve them:

 

I have a Gmail account

  • Tap Continue with Google to log in.
  • Make sure your subscription and saved data are visible after logging in. If not, you’ve likely logged in with the wrong account.

 

I use Apple and have an iPhone

  • Tap Continue with Apple to log in.
  • Check that your subscription and saved data are visible. If not, you may have logged in with the wrong account.

I know I created an account using email and password

  • Make sure you’re entering the correct email address
  • Choose Log in with Email
  • Tap Forgot password if you need to reset it
  • If you receive an error when trying to reset your password, the email you entered isn’t registered with us. Try logging in with another email address.

 

I want to log in with Apple on an Android device

If you created your account with Apple, you won’t be able to use Continue with Apple on Android – this method only works on Apple devices.

Instead, you need to:

  1. Find the email address connected to your Apple ID
  2. Go to the login screen in the app
  3. Choose Log in with Email
  4. Enter the Apple email address
  5. Tap Forgot password to set a password
  6. Log in with email + your new password

 

I’m logged in with Skippo on one device, but it doesn’t work on another

On the device where Skippo is working, go to My Skippo > Settings (gear icon) > Detailed app info. After the line “Logged in with email:” you’ll see the email address you’re currently using.

Try logging in on your other device using that exact email address.

If you don’t remember the password, copy the email, go to the login screen, enter the email and tap Forgot password to reset it.

 

If your email looks something like this: abcd1234@privaterelay.appleid.com

This means you created your account using Sign in with Apple and chose to hide your email address. In this case, try logging in using the Apple ID login method. If that doesn’t work, click here for further troubleshooting.

 

I used to log in with Facebook

Use the same email address that’s connected to your Facebook account. If it’s a Gmail address, we recommend trying the Google login method. If your password doesn’t work, you can reset it from the login screen.
