Tracks on the nautical chart

Your tracks are saved automatically when you use navigation in the app. This makes it easy to look back at where you’ve been – or follow the same route again.

To show tracks on the chart, go to Map settings and turn on Tracks. Your previous routes will then appear as purple lines directly on the map.

If you’ve been out a lot, the tracks can quickly add up. That’s why you can filter what you want to see, for example by year, or show all tracks at once.

Tracks are both fun and useful – you get a clear overview of your trips and can easily return to routes you know work.

Keep in mind that conditions at sea change. Water levels, shallows and navigation marks can vary, so always keep a good lookout and navigate with sound judgement. For the best safety, we recommend planning a new route with auto-routing before every trip.
