All Skippo gift cards are delivered digitally by email. Each one contains a code – for example: XJSHFKS – that can be redeemed on our website. Follow the steps below to activate your subscription.
How to redeem your gift card:
- Go to www.skippo.se/appen/subscription
- Click on Activate SMART
- Log in with your existing account, or create a new one
- Complete the purchase using the code you received in your email
- Download the Skippo app via the App Store or Google Play
- Log in to the app and start navigating!
Can I give a gift card to someone who already has a Skippo subscription?
Yes! The recipient will need to cancel or wait for their current subscription to expire before they can activate the gift card. (Unfortunately, gift cards can’t be redeemed via the app stores – only on the web.) That’s why each gift card is valid for 24 months from the date it was received.
Does the gift card have an expiration date?
Yes, the recipient has 24 months to redeem the subscription after receiving the gift. Once activated, the subscription will follow the duration of the gift. For example, if it’s a one-year subscription, the year starts counting from the day it is redeemed.
Why does the recipient need to enter their card details?
They won’t be charged during the first year of the subscription. Since all subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled, we ask for payment details upfront. The recipient will get a reminder before the renewal and can cancel at any time before the renewal date.
Can I buy a physical gift card?
Yes! If you don’t want to send the gift by email, you can choose to print it instead. That way, you can hand it over in person or send it by post. The PDF includes all the information the recipient needs to redeem the gift.
